Dr. Herprit Mahal MD, FACP

ASSOCIATE CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Herprit is a practicing hospital physician at Kaiser Permanente and formerly a medical director at Suki. She brings over two decades of clinical experience and a passion for using technology to expand access to high-quality, evidence-based care. Her leadership spans perioperative medicine, medical education, and AI innovation in healthcare.

Amy McCarthy DNP, RNC-MNN, NE-BC, CENP

CHIEF NURSING OFFICER

Over a decade of experience in nursing leadership and hospital administration. Clinical expertise in women’s & infants nursing. Advocate for empowering nurses to lead change. Current President of the Texas Nurses Association. Former Director-at-Large on the American Nurses Association Board of Directors. Holds a DNP in Executive Leadership from George Washington University, BSN and MSN from UT Arlington, BA in Biology from Southern Methodist University.

Dr. Ahad Wahid, MD

PRESIDENT, LIFE SCIENCES

A former NHS physician and member of the UK General Medical Council’s Quality Assurance Board, Dr. Wahid brings a deep foundation in patient safety and regulatory rigor. He later spent ten years as a Partner at BCG, where he led North America’s work on agentic AI in healthcare and advised executive teams and boards at more than 30 of the world’s top 100 healthcare organizations.

Dr. Harpreet Mangat, MD

CHIEF OF STAFF/CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

Significant experience in trauma, peri-operative care and brain tumors as a neurosurgeon at NHS. Completed fellowship in NeuroTrauma on biochemical markers of brain injury. Intensive Care Doctor with Royal Free Hospital, National Infectious Disease Unit at the height of COVID.

Dr. Shubhra Jain, MD, MBA

CHIEF Business OFFICER

Physician, operator, and investor focused on scaling generative AI applications in healthcare. At HAI, she leads commercial strategy and partnerships across providers, payers, life sciences, and the startup ecosystem to advance the company’s mission of healthcare abundance through safe AI agents. Before HAI, Dr. Jain led healthcare investing at Tarsadia Investments and at Cota Capital, and was a product leader at a healthcare AI startup. Trained as a primary care physician, she holds an MS in Engineering from Stanford and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Dr. Anoop Sangha, MD

Associate Chief Medical Officer

Anoop Sangha, MD has over 20 years of clinical and physician leadership experience across digital health, payor, and provider organizations. Formerly in senior roles at Transcarent, Livongo (Teladoc Health), and Optum, he has scaled AI-enabled care and population health programs. Board certified in Emergency Medicine, he brings clinical rigor to product and operational strategy.

Dr. Eduardo Reis, MD

Vice President Strategy

Eduardo Pontes Reis, MD joins Hippocratic AI’s Office of the CEO with deep expertise at the intersection of clinical medicine, medical imaging, and AI. A neuroradiologist and AI researcher, he has held leadership roles at Stanford AIMI and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, building and deploying AI systems for real-world clinical use. He most recently served as Founding Radiologist at a radiology AI startup and supports executive strategy and product development at Hippocratic AI.

Vishal Parikh

Chief Product Officer, Co-founder

Vishal is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Hippocratic AI, where he leads product and engineering across all of technology including Polaris, infrastructure, interfaces, and tools. A product innovator with deep expertise in AI, engineering, and operations, he has built and scaled high-growth technology companies across multiple domains. Vishal has his masters from Stanford University.

Subho Mukherjee, PhD

CHIEF SCIENCE OFFICER, CO-FOUNDER

Subho is Co-founder and Chief Science Officer at Hippocratic AI, where he spearheads the development of next generation multimodal AI models for LLM, Speech and Voice that align to human reasoning, emotion and clinical safety. Led large-scale AI efforts for massive foundation models (including Prometheus and Orca) at Microsoft Research as Principal Researcher. PhD (summa cum laude, KDD 2018 dissertation award) from Max Planck Institute, Germany.

Sejal Rajagopalan

Sejal is a senior HR executive with over 20 years of experience leading people functions at growth-stage companies, including SmithRx, C3, ServiceMax, and Encore Software Services. She has built and scaled HR teams, implemented core people operations, and led initiatives across employee development and leadership coaching. Sejal has a strong track record of guiding organizations through key growth phases.

Niloy has over 20 years of experience scaling healthcare, AI, and enterprise SaaS companies. He previously held senior leadership roles at LeanTaaS, Omnicell, and GE Digital, leading global marketing and go-to-market strategy. He has held senior roles at Xero, Ethos, and Poshmark, and earlier helped lead GrubHub and Kayak through IPOs and M&A. Bill Hudson

CHIEF TRANSFORMATION OFFICER

Former health system CIO, with over 25 years of healthcare information technology experience harnessing digital and information technology to drive optimal patient outcomes while enhancing consumer engagement, clinician adoption, and overall health system value. He has also successfully implemented and led one of the most complex and comprehensive provider outsourcing arrangements and, has led multiple Epic implementations, new hospital integrations, and large-scale Community Connect programs.

Jonathan Gainor

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER, PAYOR

Jonathan has over 15 years of experience navigating the growth challenges of Health Tech companies. Most recently he led strategy and growth in the health plan vertical for Garner Health, and has also notably led similar efforts at companies like Lyra Health, UHG, and 3M. He received his BA from BYU and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

W.B. “Mitch” Mitchell

Mitch joins Hippocratic AI from Amwell, a premier digital hybrid care platform and foundational technology partner for the Defense Health Agency’s Digital First Transformation, where he served as Group Vice President of Government Solutions. Previously, he held executive roles at Ciox Health (now Datavant) and McKesson/Change Healthcare. Mitch earned his BS from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Hollie Vugrinovich

CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER, PROVIDER

Hollie Vugrinovich leads partnerships and growth within health systems and integrated delivery networks at Hippocratic AI, focusing on enhancing care quality and expanding partner capabilities. Hollie previously drove growth at Notable, an AI-powered automation firm, and held leadership roles at the Advisory Board (now Optum/UHG) and CEB (now Gartner). She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in French from the University of Pittsburgh.

Peter Casasanto

CHIEF Commercial OFFICER, pharma

Accomplished C-level Executive with 20+ years in life sciences at the cross-section of precision medicine, data and AI applications. Prior to Hippocratic AI, Peter held C-level positions at SOPHiA Genetics and Deep 6 AI spanning corporate development and commercial strategy. Most recently he was part of the deal team that led to the acquisition of Deep 6 to Tempus AI, serving as the Commercial Head of Tempus’ AI Apps BU. Peter holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and a Master of Science in Biomedical Chemistry from Thomas Jefferson University.

Craig Ikens

CHIEF Commercial OFFICER, BLUES AND REGIONAL PLANS

Craig Ikens has over 25 years of healthcare experience, starting in consulting with Accenture and Deloitte across health plan, pharma, and provider clients. He spent a decade at HCSC leading strategy in venture capital and M&A. At Livongo, he helped align the business with health plan needs, later leading health plan sales at Teladoc Health post-acquisition. In 2024, he expanded his role to oversee a 20-person team selling into all health plans.
